Obituary for Mary Dorothy Monday Joiner
Mary Dorothy Monday Joiner, 90, a native of Cottonwood, AL and a resident of Zachary, LA died on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 11am until funeral services at 12Noon, conducted by her grandson, Clay Causey. Burial will be at Port Hudson National Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Joiner Causey and husband Billy Clayton Causey Sr. of Zachary; daughter-in-law Cynthia T. Joiner of St. Francisville; 6 grandchildren: Clacy Causey Madison and her husband Scott David Madison, Billy Clayton Causey Jr and his wife Portia Stone Causey, Jeanine Joiner Edwards and her husband Tracy L. Edwards, James H. Joiner III and his wife Tara Wheeler Joiner, Jeanette Joiner, Jason Joiner and his wife Loren Walters Joiner; twenty-three great-grandchildren: Meredith Madison, Benjamin Madison, Caly Causey, Cade Causey, Corban Causey, Caleb Causey, Mary Charis Causey, Chase Edwards, Justin Edwards, Jacob Joiner, Cody Joiner, Brittany McKinney, Sara Rose Marionneaux, Chip Joiner, Ty Depew, Tobe Depew, Tia Joiner, Sarah Joiner, Jason Joiner, Shelby Joiner, Justin Joiner, Matthew Joiner, Tristan Joiner; and great-great granddaughter Marielyn Jude McKinney. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Joiner Sr.; her son, James H. Joiner Jr.; her brother, Billie Joe Monday; and her parents, Joseph Edward Monday and Mary Lodessa Monday. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
