Johnnie Brock Bunch Jr., 72, a resident of Zachary, LA, and former owner of Hometown Finance, died on Saturday, September 29, 2018. He was a native of Bogalusa, LA. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 11am until funeral services at 1pm, conducted by Brother Charles Watts and Brother John Clardy. Burial will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Nancy Sharon Langlois Bunch; one daughter, Dawn M. Bunch of Louisville, KY; two sons, Johnnie Brock Bunch III and wife Lindsay S. Bunch of Zachary; James Elliott Bunch and wife Tywanda Bunch of Zachary; father-in-law Elliott J. Langlois, Sr.; four grandchildren: Kristen Claxton, Riley Bunch, Ian Bunch, William Stewart; and one great-grandchild, Truett Stewart. He was preceded in death by his father, Major John B. Bunch Sr.; mother, Myrtle Wheat Bunch; mother-in-law Alice Font Williams; step-father-in-law Rueben Williams. Pallbearers will be Elliott J. (Joey) Langlois Jr.; Terry G. Story; Billy Stewart; Bobby L. Story; Jason McKenzie; Jerami McKenzie; and Ian Bunch. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Herring, Bobby G. Story, and Mark McDaniel. Johnnie enjoyed singing and performing all over the region, fronting many different groups. He was an avid fisherman and loved his family and friends.
