Benjamin "Bennie"  Herrington
Benjamin Thomas “Bennie” Herrington, died on Sept. 23, 2018 at his home in Zachary. He was 92 years old and was retired from Local 195. He was a native of Franklin Parish. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 from 9am until service time at 11am conducted by Rev. Ray Johnson. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Causey Herrington. 3 daughters, Shirley Mitchell and husband Timothy, Montgomery, AL; Dorothy Parker and husband, Tommy, Metairie and Barbara Overstreet, Southhaven, MS. 6 grandchildren, Bradford (Ranell) Parker, Joel (Lydia) Mitchell Derek (Leisha) Parker, Marchele (Jeremy) Price, Jason (Cylleena) Smith and Sharla (Steven) Bender. and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his dad, Allen Herrington, his mom, Maggie Herrington, 2 brothers, Elmer and Randal Herrington and a son in law, Norm Overstreet. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, and great grandson, Ethan Wade. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs.
