Obituary for Beverly Louise Bennett (Willcutt)

Beverly Louise Willcutt Bennett, former resident of East Main Street in Slaughter LA and Plank Rd in Zachary LA, daughter of the late Edward and Geraldine Willcutt was born October 31,1942 in Birmingham AL. She attended public school in Trussville AL before moving to Zachary LA where she graduated from Zachary High school in 1961. Beverly was a devout Christian her entire life. She sang in multiple church choirs and worship teams over the years. She even sang on the radio with her grandfather and brothers at an early age. She was united in holy matrimony to Gerald Wayne Bennett on August 12, 1961. This union was blessed with two children. Her husband, Gerald Wayne Bennett Sr., preceded her in death on April 29, 2004. Mrs. Bennett was always a devoted member of the church, not only did she sing, she and her husband were active participants in every church they attended. She touched the lives of many with her kind spirit and will be painfully missed by all that came to know her. She quietly departed this life Thursday, August 30, 2018 at her home in Blountsville AL. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Gerald Wayne Bennett Jr. and wife, Connie Lynn Bennett and Angela Dawn Hollier and husband, Toby Wayne Hollier, Grandchildren, Matthew Wayne Bennett and wife, Brittany Kelly Bennett, Andrew Wade Bennett, Luke Michael Bennett and finance, Avery Ashley and Luke Wayne Hollier, her brothers, Butch Willcutt and wife Brenda, Allen Willcutt and wife Kathy, Daryl Willcutt and wife Sheryl and Rev. Reggie Willcutt and wife, Charlene. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Rock Church & World Ministries, 20810 Plank Road, Zachary, LA 70791, from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Azalea Rest Cemetery, Zachary.
