Obituary for Charles Leo "Rabbit / Bop" Adams Jr.

Charles Leo Adams, Jr., "Rabbit", 74, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Grace Health and Rehab. He was a retired pipefitter and welder. He was a 1962 graduate of Istrouma High School. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A private family graveside service will be at a later date.
He is survived by his former wife and beloved mother of his children, Patsy Adams, daughters, Lori Hopwood and husband Mike of Zachary, Stacey Ross and husband Mark of Geismar, son, Layne Adams of Zachary, sisters, Charlotte Gordy and husband Ricky of Baton Rouge and Lynn Northcutt of West Monroe. "Bop's" beloved grandchildren are Garrett Hopwood, Matthew Hopwood, Jenna Hopwood and Braeden Ross. Charles is preceded in death by his son, Bryan Adams and grandson, Ayin Cassel. Special thanks to Charmaine from Hospice of Baton Rouge and many nurses and CNAs at Grace Health and Rehab for their patience and care over the years.
