Everett Earl  Estes
Everett “Earl” Estes, 52, of Zachary, LA, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his home after a long, courageous battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. He was a previous employee of J&J Lumber Company. He is survived by his mother, Mary L. Estes; his sister, Evelyn Estes (Steve); his brother, James Walter Estes and wife Lynn; nieces Angela Wyche and Brandi Ard; great-nieces and nephews, Brian and Chris Wyche, Asia Gilliam, Curtis Gilliam, Christian Colson, Jessica Rosenbach, Amber Ard, Vivian Ard, Maya Hernandez, Sydney Wyche; and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett B. Estes; niece Nikki Gilliam; and maternal and paternal grandparents. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Earl loved to hunt and run dogs. He enjoyed camping and fishing. One of Earl’s favorite places to visit and where he made his fondest memories, was in the Great Smoky Mountains.
