Cheryl was my best friend in elementary school until her family moved to Shenendoa when we were in 6th grade. We remained close for quite some time but finally lost touch after a year or more. I grew up with her and loved her dearly. Her mom and dad were important parts of my life as Cheryl was. I always missed her friendship and wondered where she ended up. So happy to know she lived a happy life and so sad to know she is gone. I loved her like a sister as a young girl and we had so much fun together! What dear memories I have of all the time we spent together. What a long time ago but never ever forgotten. Rest in peace dear Cheryl!
