Louis Everette Stroud, “The Silver Fox”, 61, a resident of St. Francisville and Lake Rosemound died on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his home. He was retired, after working for over 30 years for the Louisiana State Penitentiary. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 1pm until services at 4pm. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cathy Honeycutt Stroud; one daughter, Elizabeth Coggins and her husband Cory Coggins of Morrilton, AR; four sons: David Stroud and wife Katie Stroud of Roxie, MS; Benjamin Stroud and Jessica Stroud of Morrilton, AR; Christopher Stroud of St. Francisville, LA; Shawn Britt and wife Kelly Britt of Indiana; two sisters: Lola Bingham and husband Jim Bingham; Ruth Kinder; two brothers: Michael Hill and wife Patricia; Gerald Kirkendoll Jr.; seven grandchildren: Raigan Reid, Luke Coggins, Ella Stroud, Corbin Stroud, William David Stroud, Kelby Britt, and Kody Britt. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Lillian Kirkendoll and his younger sister, Geneva Boughton.
