George M. Borskey, Sr., 89 a resident of Clinton, LA and living in Schriever, LA, went to his eternal home on Monday, April 30, 2018. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc in Zachary on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 5pm until 8pm and then on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 9am until funeral services at 11am. Burial will follow at Azalea Rest Cemetery. He is survived by his sons, George M. Borskey, Jr. and his wife Mary of Schreiver, LA; and Timothy D. Borskey and his wife Jan of Baker, LA; his brother, Wilton Borskey and his wife Mary of Port Hudson, LA; grandchildren Katina R. Vickers, Garrett M. Borskey, Jermey H. Vickers and wife Amanda, Brandy Liner, Jade M. Borskey and wife Sabrina; step-grandchildren Allison, Joseph, and William Rooney; great-grandchildren Paige Borskey, Jolie Borskey, Maddison Vickers, Bobbi Liner, Gavin Borskey, Cade Vickers, Bailey Liner, Adrienne Vickers, and Ella G. Vickers. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Ruthie Mae Borskey; daughter Pamela G. Vickers; brother Woodrow Borskey, brother J.C. Borskey, sister Mabel Parrish, and brother Ed Borskey. Pallbearers will be George M. Borskey, Jr., Timothy Borskey, Jade M. Borskey, Garrett M. Borskey, Jermey Vickers, and Dave Borskey. He was a member of the Masons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
