Mart Verrell Richardson, 87, “Bud”, a resident of Dahlonega, GA, died on Saturday, January 27, 2018. He was the co-owner of Baker Valve and Machine Services with his son. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 5pm until 8pm and then on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 9am until funeral services at 11am. Burial will be at Azalea Rest Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Dickerson Richardson; daughter Marcia Andre; son Marty Richardson and his wife Angela; step-daughter, Tara Pruitt; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Richardson; mother, Roma Richardson; brother, David Richardson; sister, Mary Nell Robins. Pallbearers will be Randall Perdue; Randall Badeaux; Chris Ray; Reed Heagler; Dennis Robins; and Wesley Meadows.
