Obituary for Helen F. Vidrine

​On Friday, January 19, 2018, heaven gained another angel. Helen F. Vidrine passed away peacefully in her home in Wakefield, LA surrounded by her husband and children. She was 83 years old. She was a native of Mamou and a long-time resident of St. Francisville. Helen is survived by her husband of 64 years, Daniel W. Vidrine, and her children Trudy V. Greer of Wilson, LA; Daniel J. Vidrine of Delano, TN; Ted M. Vidrine of Hot Springs Village, AK; Tia Blackard of St. Francisville, LA; Jacques A. Vidrine of San Franscisco, CA; and 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her loving sister, Sedonia Soileau of Eunice, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Olivier & Marie Fuselier; her sisters Lita Fontenot and Lela Menier, her daughter Dana Vidrine, and her grandson Bryan Vidrine.​ ​There will be a visitation for family and friends on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA from 5pm until 8pm with a 7pm memorial service.
