Jimmie Jean Haury, 89, a resident of Zachary, LA, died on Thursday, December 28, 2017. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 2pm until funeral services at 4pm, conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes. Burial will be at Port Hudson National Cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Lynda J. Haury of Slaughter, LA; one son, Mark S. Haury and wife Melanie M. Haury of Annville, KY; three grandchildren: Scott Reitzell and his wife Jennifer, Mark Haury Jr and wife Liz, Megan Cupit and husband Joseph; and six great-grandchildren: Berkley Reitzell, Hagen Reitzell, Sydney Haury, Mackenzie Haury, Emma Haury, and Colton Cupit. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Joseph Haury; daughter Elizabeth “Lori” Rietzell and her husband Jack Reitzell; sister Shirley Blair Floyd and husband Grover C. Floyd; and infant brother James W. Blair. She loved to travel to other countries with tour groups from the First Baptist Church of Zachary. She also loved seeing Broadway shows in NYC. She loved singing in the First Baptist Church of Zachary Choir, and especially in the annual Christmas production.
