Condolence: My husband Dave and I would like to express our sincere condolences to all the members of Brad's family especially to his wife and children and to his mother (my first cousin Barbara Jo). We were so sorry to hear about this terrible tragedy. From what I've been reading, Brad was one of the givers, one of the "good guys". He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. You're in our prayers and thoughts.

Condolence From: Jerry Mack
Condolence: Family, My deepest condolences go out to you and the community. I have worked along side Brad many times at Clinton Elementary School. He was always willing to come in and help out with any activity that was happening. I truly appreciate the many times he took time out of his day to talk to different boys that would question him about his Boy Scout uniform or Camp Avondale. The boys would ask him when Scout Camp was going to start, and as if they were not excited about it, he would get them even more excited. Brad always had kind words to say about everyone he knew. I never knew him to talk bad about anyone. He is going to be missed by everyone that knew him. May God rest his comforting hand on you during this truly sorrow filled time in your lives.

Condolence From: Dr. R. Mark Conger
Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of this tragedy. I last saw Brad at the Clay Shoot at Avondale in May where he was out cooking a big pot of jambalaya for all of us I asked him if he was going to get to shoot with us to which he replied no, l’m working today, and he smiled and kept stirring the pot. That was the Brad I will always remember, he loved to cook and he always was willing to work for others. He was a great example to my three Eagle Scout sons that all knew him and benefited from his work. My condolences to his family and prayers to all.

Condolence: I served with Brad onboard USS SAN FRANCISCO (SSN 711) during my first tour in the Navy. That was about 24 years ago now, and I still remember him as a "Good Shipmate" and a "Brother of the Phin". As a Submariner, those are the two most important things, and he embodied both. I was glad to reconnect with him through the power of social media, and am sadden to learn of his passing. Rest easy Shipmate! We have the Watch...

Condolence: I had only met Brad once or twice but he was the such a friendly man that he made me feel like I had known him for years. I am so sorry for your loss. I know everyone that knew him will have an empty place in their heart that can never filled. I am praying for you and the children during this most difficult and tragic time. May the Lord wrap you, the children and all of his family and friends in His loving arms and grant you all the peace and comfort that only He can give.

Condolence: Please allow me to express my deepest condolences for your family's loss. I hope that you will find comfort in the real hope that the Bible gives of being reunited with your loved one again. In the Bible at John 5:28, 29 it reads, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.". The Bible there promises that your loved one will come back to life again in the resurrection. (Acts 24:15) The Bible also promises that soon death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3, 4) I encourage you to visit JW.org for more information about this wonderful hope.

Condolence: I served with Brad on the USS San Francisco (SSN-711) in Pearl Harbor during the early 1990's. Brad was the kind of person you don't forget; quick with a smile, a friend to everyone, and one heck of a great cook. Though I hadn't seen him face to face in a long time, I was thankful to reconnect with him on Facebook some years ago. I know he will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of this great man. Brad, as fellow Submariners we are more than shipmates, we are brothers. Rest your oars my brother, we have the watch.
