Obituary for Donald R. Duncan

Duncan, Donald Ray, Sr., a resident of Clinton and native of Mt. Hermon, passed on to be with our Lord and Savior at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge on Monday, September 25, 2017.  He was retired from Feliciana Forensic Facility in Jackson after 30 years of service. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Pentecostals of Clinton church, 15472 Highway 10, Clinton, LA, 70722,  from 9:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm  conducted by Rev. Crockett Kennedy. Burial will be in the church cemetery. 
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jean Duncan, children, Theresa Smith,  Donald R. Duncan, Jr, Charlotte Jordan and husband Jerry, 
Aaron Duncan and wife Tina, April Davis and husband Royce, step children, Keith Wood and wife Cindi, Tammy Johnson and husband Douglas, Kathy Wade and husband, James, James "Jimmy" Whittington and wife Bridgett and Theresa Whittington Dyson and husband Jamey, sisters, Dixie Smith, Daisy Tarver and Bonnie Whetstone. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. 
Donald was a great chef and loved carpentry. He never met a stranger and would help anyone.
