Reese, William "Willy" J., a resident of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Baton Rouge General, Bluebonnet.
Visitation will all be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary, on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00pm and on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. Chris Curry. Burial will follow in Dawson Cemetery, Jackson.
Willy is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth Lawson Reese, sons, Ricky Reese and wife Latisha, James Reese and wife Michelle, Ken Tibbett, and stepson, Jay Hadden and wife Cindy, Sister, Ginni Case and husband Roger, brothers, Bobby Reese and wife Pam, and Eddy Reese and wife Becky. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren including two special that he raised, Tori and Caylence Hadden and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Mildred Reese, sister, Rosie Reese and one grandson, A.J. Hadden.
Pallbearers will be Trenton Reese, Sklyar O'Brien, Tony Linton, Josh Case, Nick Reese, Kenny Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Hal Ware, Herb, Ginn and friends of Thompson Creek Sporting Goods.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gun collector. He was a retired correctional supervisor after 23 years from DCI and currently employed with Thompson Creek Sporting Goods. Special thanks to the staff and doctors at Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet.
