A resident of Greenwell Springs, he died Friday, Sept. 1, 2017. He was 59 years old and was retired from Cargill with over 30 years of service. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm and continues on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 from 9am until service at 11am. Burial will be in Rogillio Cemetery, Tunica. He is survived by his daughters, Kristen Nicole “Sweets” Pittman and Tara Leblanc and Tania Brown and a son, Donald Ray “Donnie” Pittman, Jr. 3 sisters, Debbie Simoneaux, Peggy Kirby and Eva Cline and a brother, Ronald Pittman. 8 grandchildren, including Avari Pittman and a grandson due in December 2017, Timothy Michael Pace, Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Olie Ray, Jr. and Bonnie Copeland Pittman.

Donald Ray was a hard working dedicated father, son and brother. He will be dearly missed by all.
