Obituary for Clifton Lee Andrews Jr.
A husband, father, brother, uncle, son and friend was called to a grand gathering on July 26, 2017.
Clifton Lee Andrews, Jr., was born on February 24, 1952. He was a graduate of Zachary High and a 30 year employee of Georgia Pacific.
He was met at this gathering by his father, Clifton Lee, Sr., his sister, Kimberly Whittington and a multitude of friends who have been the subjects of many tall tales.
Clifton left behind so many people to carry on his legacy. a wife of 41 years, Vicki Andrews, his mother, Ruth Andrews, his son, Jay Andrews and wife Lisa, a daughter, Crystal Andrews Woodward and husband C.W., his sister, Jill Andrews Comeaux and husband Scott, a brother, Steve Andrews, his nephew, Hunter Beall and wife Callie and niece Peyton Comeaux- all he loved just like his own, four grandchildren, Billie Joe Baker and husband, Jason , Skyler, Cole and Ruby, two great granddaughters Kinleigh and Dallas, and two great nieces Ainsley and Natalie. These children gave him purpose, joy and made his world go around.
His family will be having a celebration of his extraordinary life at Zachary Community Church, 4455 Church Street, Zachary, on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm with a celebration starting at 3:00 pm. There will be storytelling and happy times to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Diabetes Association or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
