Emma Elizabeth “Beth” Poché, 68, a resident of Slaughter, LA, died on Monday, June 19, 2017 at her home. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary from 9am until funeral services at 11am, conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker. Burial will be at Redwood Cemetery in Slaughter. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Cable and husband George Cable of Ethel, LA; one son, William E. “Billy” Poché III and wife Michelle Poché of Slaughter, LA; five grandchildren, Cody Reardon; Blake Cable; Dylon Buhler; Spencer Buhler, and Brandon Smith. She was preceded in death by her spouse, William E. “Skip” Poché Jr; parents Will H. and Juanita Peterson Moore; father-in-law William E. Poché Sr.; mother-in-law Dorothy Poché. Pallbearers will be Robert Moore, Tommy Moore, Jesse Noble, Mike Wall, Jeremy Tardy, Robbie Jackson, Richard Hayden, Sam Ricca, Charles Marks, Colby Marks, Rick Harvey, and Spencer Buhler. She enjoyed crocheting. She was a farmer and co-owner of Short Handed Cattle Farm. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
