Obituary for Keith Sigrest Schwendimann

Keith Sigrest Schwendimann, “NaNa”, 72, a resident of Zachary, LA, died on Friday, May 12, 2017. She was retired from EBR Parish School Board after teaching 17 years as a Home Economics teacher at Baker High School. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm and then on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 9am until funeral services at 10am, conducted by Rev. Randy Richmond. Burial will be in Azalea Rest Cemetery. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Michael Duane Schwendimann; one daughter, Julie Schwendimann Merritt and her husband Randy Merritt of Fulshear, TX; one son, Jason Downing Schwendimann and wife Amy Schwendimann of Zachary, LA; four grandchildren: Kelsey Michelle Schwendimann, Jessica Adair Schwendimann; Cody McAllister Merritt, and Carter McLain Merritt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Pauline Sigrest, and her brother, Paul Burton Sigrest. Pallbearers will be Jason Schwendimann, Randy Merritt, Robert Schwendimann, Dale Hodges, Rudy Hodges, Eric Hodges, and Jeffrey Schwendimann. She was a member of Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) and American Daughters of the Confederacy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Zachary, PO Box 624, Zachary, LA 70791, or the charity of your choice.
