Jesse J. Wesley Sr, 83, died on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was a retired corrections officer with 30 plus years of service with the State of Louisiana. Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am.
He is survived by his children, Jesse J. Wesley Jr., David Wesley, Annisa Kay Cunningham, Jessica Cunningham, James Ray Wesley, Veronica L. Young and Shanna ( P'nut) Wesley, grandchildren, Eric Cunningham Jr., Ashley Cunningham, Alysha Wesley, Hunter Cunningham, Shelley Cunningham, Dustin Wesley, Dilan Wesley, Damian Wesley, Ricky Ray Wesley, Bre' Aunna Wesley, Cpl. Thomas L. Wesley Crawford, Rainy Hall, Richard Hall Jr., Renior Young Jr., Joshua Lowe, Jacob Lowe, Michael Wesley and Matthew Wesley. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, 2 sisters, 1 brother and 2 sons.
He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam and Korean War.
