Marion Rebecca "Becky" Wall
"But they who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; the shall mount up wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
Becky's wait ended on May 5th, 2017. Becky was born on November 15, 1946, the sixth child of Warren and Geneva Wall. She is survived by four sisters, Kathy Weaver of Jackson, La, Betty (Mike) Lofton of Slaughter, La, Brenda Croy of Ponchatoula, La, Rhonda (Bill) Kirkland of Zachary, LA, three brothers, Charles Wall of Watson, La, Mike (Barbara) Wall of Slaughter, La and Terry (Theresa) Wall of Slaughter, La, brother in law, Ed Hughes of Slaughter, La and 22 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Warren and Geneva Wall, a sister, Barbara Hughes, a brother, Clayton Wall, two brothers in law, Charles Weaver and Charles Croy, a sister in law, Marion Wall, nieces, Gloria Faith Hughes, and Jacqueline Weaver, and nephew, Ricky Hughes.
Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc, Zachary, La on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the Jerome Wall Family Cemetery in Gilsburg, MS.
Pallbearers will be her three brothers, Charles, Mike and Terry Wall, her two brothers in law, Mike Lofton and Bill Kirkland and three of her nephews, Trae Weaver, David Wall and Kevin Wall.
The family would like to thank Yolanda Grisby and her staff who faithfully and lovingly cared for our sister. Also the nurses and staff at Lane Regional Hospital and the Hospice Butterfly Wing at Baton Rouge General and Mr. Leon Causey who visited and prayed with Becky during her time at the hospital.
