Milton Anderson
Milton Anderson, 71, a resident of Jackson, LA, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Visitation will be at the Second Baptist Church of Jackson, LA on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm and then on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 9am until funeral services at 11am, conducted by Bro. Keith Bernard. Burial will be at the Second Baptist Cemetery in Jackson. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Karen Daniels Anderson; four sons, Milton Anderson and wife Alana of Zachary, LA: Shelton Anderson of Jackson, LA; Tony Anderson of Oklahoma City; Jason Anderson and wife Carmen of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Lisa Anderson of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren: Destin Anderson, Aibry Anderson, Alia Anderson, Ariana Anderson, Trevor Anderson, Tara Anderson and Dana Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Estelle Anderson; brothers Andy Anderson and James Anderson; and son James Anderson. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hood, Jr., Michael Manchester, Brent Theriot, Jimmy Hayes, Milton Anderson, Shelton Anderson, Kenneth Hood, and Ronnie Strickland. He was a dedicated Christian and church-goer. He loved to spend time with family, especially his grandbabies. The family wishes to thank Brother Keith Bernard and the church family of Magnolia Christian Assembly for their prayers and encouragement as well as Southern Care for their loving support throughout his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family to defray funeral costs.
