Obituary for Lucille Tyler Allen


​Lucille T Allen ​, 8​5​, went to be with Jesus on ​Thursday, March 23, 2017​. ​Sh​e was a 50 plus year resident of Zachary and a ​homemaker and mother.​
Visitation will be on ​Monday​, ​March​ ​27​, 2017 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 1​1​:00 am until service time at ​2​:00 pm​.​ ​
​​Sh​e is survived by h​er daughters, Connie Myers and husband ​Dr. ​Michael​ Myers​, Diane Napoli and husband ​Dr. ​Gera​r​d​ Napoli​ and Janice Veillon and husband Wade​ Veillon​, son, ​Dr. ​Rickey Allen and wife​,​ Lynne​ Allen​, ​Brother, William "Bill" Tyler and wife, Alice and Sister in law, Eurple Joiner. ​Sh​e is also survived by h​er​ eleven grandchildren,​ Dr. Etage Manuel, Eric Creel, Roman Napoli, ​Dr. ​Amanda Priefer, Jordan Napoli, Leanne Troyer, Joshua Allen, Jeffrey Veillon, Nicholas Veillon, Kimberly McNair, Brent Myers and 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. ​Sh​e was preceded in death by ​her husband of 68 years, Hubert A. Allen, ​parents, Fritz E. Tyler and Hazel Murray Tyler ​and great grandchildren, Cullen and Zoe​y​. ​ ​Pallbearers will be all grandsons, Eric Creel, Joshua Allen, Roman Napoli, Jordan Napoli, Jeffrey Veillon and Nicholas Veillon.​ She was a member of First Baptist Church in Zachary, loved quilting, sewing, her flowers and was passionate about her family. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to First Baptist Church Growth and Development, 4200 Main Street, Zachary, LA 70791 or St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
