Obituary for Glenn Leslie Greer

Greer, Glenn Leslie, 89, a resident of St.Francisville and born in Madrid, NE, died at his home on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 3:09 am. He was a retired deputy from West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Department.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Catholic church in St. Francisville from 9:00 am until service at 11:00 am​ ​conducted by Father Rich Lubuti and George Storms. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his three daughters, Ann Dobson of Terre Haute, IN, Theresa Daniel of Zachary, and Teri Bunch and husband Marvin of Liberty, MS, four sons, Don Sherman of Alto, TX, Eddie Daniel and wife Marsha of St. Francisville, Dr. Charles Daniel and wife Donna of Baton Rouge and Robert Daniel and wife Glenda of St. Francisville, one sister, Barbara Caster and husband Arnold of Waldport, OR, 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and loving and faithful companion Louise Marquis.. He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Greer, mother, Ruby Greer, Brother, Gerald Greer, first wife, Olive J. Greer and second wife, Emma Theresa Greer. Pallbearers will be Alden Daniel, Austin Daniel, Dr. John Godke, Jay Ivy, Tyler Daniel and Dr. Chaillie Daniel. Honorary pallbearers will be deputies of West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office. He was a US Marine veteran of World War II serving in the Korean Theatre.
Special thanks to Bridgeway Hospice and granddaughter, Mary Godke, who served him faithfully every day.
