Obituary for Sharon Elane Patterson (Delaney)
Sharon Elane Delaney Patterson, age 71, a resident of Pride and native of Denham Springs, died Sunday, February 26, 2017.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 2, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – Pride Ward from 9:00 am until service at 11:00 am, conducted by Bishop Josh Roy. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Samuel A. Patterson.
1 daughter, Rebekah Marie Phenald and husband Steve; 6 sons, Timothy Patterson, John Patterson and wife Angela, Paul Patterson, Joseph Patterson and wife Heather, Jacob Patterson and wife Courtney, Benjamin Patterson and wife Haley; sisters Jo Mauffray and Patricia Sharkey; brother Eddie Delaney and wife Lora; 30 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded by a son David Patterson and daughter Deborah Patterson.
Pallbearers will be Heber Patterson, Eddie Delaney and her sons.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Benefit for Easton David Roy, at any Regions Bank, or by mail to 6313 Bridgeport Dr., Greenwell Springs, La. 70739. Easton was born on Feb 13, 2017, with a life threatening disease called Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension in Newborns. He has been on a heart/lung bypass since Feb. 14, at Children's Hospital in New Orleans.
