Obituary for Hubert Alton Allen
Allen, Hubert Alton, 86, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. He was a 50 plus year resident of Zachary and a retired Power House Supervisor from Crown Zellerbach papermill.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes. Burial will follow in Azalea Rest Cemetery, Zachary.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lucille Tyler Allen, daughters, Connie Myers and husband Michael, Diane Napoli and husband Gerard and Janice Veillon and husband Wade, son, Rickey Allen and wife Lynne, sister, Eurple Joiner. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, Etage Manuel, Eric Creel, Roman Napoli, Amanda Priefer, Jordan Napoli, Leanne Troyer, Joshua Allen, Jeffrey Veillon, Nicholas Veillon, Kimberly McNair, Brent Myers and 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Cullen Allen, Mother, Edna Bennett Allen, Sister, Mary Bearden and great grandchildren, Cullen and Zoe. Pallbearers will be all grandsons, Eric Creel, Joshua Allen, Roman Napoli, Jordan Napoli, Jeffrey Veillon and Nicholas Veillon. Hubert was a graduate of McGehee Arkansas High School, served in the Mississippi National Guard and was an avid gardner and outdoorsman.
