Obituary for Shelton Mac Watts

Watts, Shelton Mac, 50
On Saturday, January 21, 2017, Mac Watts went home to be with our Lord and Savior. He passed away after an almost two year battle with melanoma cancer at his home surrounded by his wife, children, family and friends. Mac was a high school graduate of Central High School and a college graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University where he played golf on a scholarship. He was married to his wife, Susan Castilaw Watts for twenty-seven amazing years. Together they have three wonderful children. During his life, Mac enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted father, husband, brother and son. He has been a life-long resident of Central. The family would like to invite friends and relatives to Zoar Baptist Church where a visitation will be held on Tuesday, January, 24, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with services at 1:00 pm. There will be a reception following the service at the home of Mac's parents. Mac is survived by his wife, Susan Watts, his children, Travis Watts, Austin Watts and wife, Jaci Watts, Macee Watts, Parents, Shelton Watts and Loretta Watts, his brother, Wes Watts and wife, Jodie Watts, mother-in-law, Patricia Castilaw, brothers-in-law, Doug Castilaw, and wife Laurie, David Castilaw and wife Sonia and Michael Castilaw, along with best friends, John Allen and Brian Jones. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Wilton Watts and Georgia "Pete" Watts, maternal grandparents, Alvin Shaffer and Rena LeClercq Shaffer and father-in-law, Earl Castilaw.
