Obituary for Deborah Carmella Barker (Bloise)

Deborah Carmella Barker (Bloise)
Barker, Deborah Carmella Bloise, went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 28th 2016 at 5:15 pm. She was surrounded by her loving family, dear friends and pastor. Debbie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Paul G. Barker; 3 children, son, Jeremy Barker and his wife Jennifer, daughter, Pennie Rosales and her husband Juan, son, Andrew Barker and his wife Cassie; 5 grandchildren, Sydney Barker, Jeffrey Barker, Autumn Barker, Micaela Rosales, and Alex Rosales; sister, Bonnie Lees; and brothers, Joe Bloise and David Bloise.

Debbie was an adoring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend that was generous with her love and faithful to God. She greatly enjoyed being a part of her church family, First Baptist Church of Zachary, where she was actively involved in Missions Friends, Children’s Choir and the nursery.

Debbie was an independent business owner of Get Organized by Deborah. She was a member of the Independent Accountants and former member of the Chambers of Commerce of Zachary. She loved "crunching numbers" and preparing taxes almost as much as she loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, baking, making jelly, and fudge and then giving those treats as gifts. She will be immeasurably missed by all that knew her. We find comfort in knowing that we will all be reunited in Heaven with her one day, for all eternity. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home,Inc., 4230 High Street in Zachary, on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 5 pm-8 pm. Visiting will continue at First Baptist Church of Zachary, 4200 Main Street in Zachary, on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 9 am- 11 am, with a service at 11 am. The burial will immediately follow at the Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary.
