James Edwin "Bubba"  Harvey
A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he died on Friday, December 2, 2016 at his home. He was 71 years old and was retired from USDA Farm Service Agency after 43 years of employment. He was a US Marine Corps veteran. Visiting will be at St. Francisville United Methodist Church on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 from 9am until religious service at 12pm conducted by Rev. Daniel Hixon and Rev. Harold Babin. Burial will be in Star Hill Cemetery, St. Francisville. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frances Ann Rosenthal Harvey. A daughter, Frances “Sissy” Harvey and a son, Clyde “Joe” Harvey and wife, Cherie. He is survived by his brothers, Wayne Harvey and wife, Nancy and Melvin Harvey Sr. and wife, Margaret. A granddaughter, Madison “Maddie” Harvey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde A. Harvey and Lillie Mae DeLee Harvey. Pallbearers will be Melvin Harvey, Jr., Michael Harvey, William Lott, Chaillie Daniel, Tim Pohlman and Darrell Barbara. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Harvey, Melvin Harvey, Sr., Jack Brownhill and James “Jimmie” Ritchie.

Bubba got his Bachelor in Marketing in 1968. He was an active member of St. Francisville United Methodist Church and the Feliciana Forestry Association. He served as a member of the St. Francisville Planning and Zoning Board for many years. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and spending time with his granddaughter, Maddie.
