Obituary for Ernest K Shelton
Shelton, Ernest K.,71, of Zachary, LA was born on April 8, 1945. Mr. Shelton went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2016 while at The Crossing Hospice in Baton Rouge. They took great care of him while he was in their care. Thanks to them so much. Services will be held at W.K. Gordon Prayer Center, 8930 Plank Road, Baton Rouge on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
Ernest was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. He was a great father, husband, grandfather and uncle. He is preceded in death by his wife, Oneida Shelton, daughter, Robin Shelton, brothers, Robert Shelton, Charles Shelton and Jimmy Shelton. He is survived by his sons, Rusty Shelton, Randy New, Terry New, daughters, Sherry Gregoire, Kathy Frith, brother, Howard Shelton and sister, Linda Finley. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He loved to hunt, fish, and work. You will be missed very much. I love you dad. I'll see you soon, Love "Ruck"
