Obituary for Jackie Marlon Dunaway
Jackie M. Dunaway, a resident of Slaughter, died on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016. He was 77 years old and was retired from TEMBEC. Visiting will be at Milldale Baptist Church on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 from 12pm until service at 2pm conducted by Rev. Jimmy Robertson. Burial will be in Milldale Baptist Church Cemetery, Zachary. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Dunaway. 2 children, Julie Williams and husband, Jamie and Mark Steven Dunaway and wife, Ellen. 2 sisters, Lynn Lewis and Jenny McNeeley. 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ann Moses and Marlon Dunaway and 2 brothers, Ted and Jerry Dunaway. Jackie was a member of Milldale Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and in his later years, he enjoyed singing gospel music.
