Obituary for Lillie Beatrice Kirkwood Causey
Lillie Beatrice Kirkwood Causey, died on Friday, August 19, 2016. She was 87 years old, a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Zachary. She was the first Kindergarten teacher in Baton Rouge and was the former owner of Causey’s Childcare Center in Baton Rouge.
She is survived by her children, Daryl Causey, Sr and wife, Kathy and Carol Ann (Cannon) Kyes and husband, Wedge, Jr. 4 grandchildren, Daryl, Jr. and Zachary Causey and Daryl Thomas “Tommy” and Geoffrey Cannon. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ira Lester Causey, her parents, Arthur and Jennie Kirkwood, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Pallbearers will be pat Causey, Ira Jean causey, Carl Causey, Gary Causey, Norman latimer and Jimmy Moulder. Honorary pallbearers will be Daryl, Jr. and Zachary Causey and Tommy and Geoffrey Cannon.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Denham Springs. Special thanks to Ollie Steele Burden Manor and Hospice of Baton Rouge for all the care and compassion given to our mother.
