Obituary for Barbara Gail Corcoran (Davis)

Corcoran, Barbara Gail (Davis), died peacefully at home surrounded by her children on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, August 22, 2016 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker and Rev. Bob Wojohn. Burial will follow in Redwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her three daughters, Billie Jane Dykes and husband Mark, Elizabeth (Liz) Aaron and husband Jason and Amy Manuel and husband Charles, two sons, Tim Corcoran and wife Jennifer and Roy Corcoran and wife Lacy, sisters, Dora Kirkwood, Delores McKey and husband Fred, Annette Poole and husband Bob, grandchildren, Caleb Aaron and wife Kaylan, James Elliott Aaron, Lawrence Manuel, Garrett Manuel, Hugh Corcoran, Dalton Corcoran, Kay Gail Corcoran, Elliott Corcoran, Nathan Corcoran, Michael Dykes and wife Spenser, Meghan Dykes and expected grandson, Jesse Josiah Corcoran. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Flavia Aaron, Mikey Dykes and Katherine Dykes.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, R. Elliott Corcoran, parents, Ike (Buck) and Wilma Davis and brother, Johnny Davis.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Aaron, Clifton Schwartz, Tom Schartz, Michael Dykes, Ashby Schwartz and Don McKey. Honorary pallbearers are her much beloved grandsons.
She was an avid baseball fan and a member of Plains Presbyterian Church.
