The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Travis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the family. Remember you are not alone at this difficult time. "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." (Psalm 46:1) God understands your pain and he cares for you. (Isaiah 41:10 and Revelation 21:4) Again my deepest sympathy

Condolence: John, it had been an honor to have known you and your wife ever since we met all those years ago. And the traveling we did together to all the CB brakes. You had a good life my friend. And JR, when you get to haven, say hello to Norma for me.

Condolence: To the family of John,
I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. He was such a dear and sweet man. Through all our years of working together at the legislature, no one ever figured out that we were in fact cousins. It was a running joke between us. I loved him dearly and shall miss him very much. All the prayers and sympathy can travel are going to yall. He is in a better place and we know now that all the suffering is gone. We shall miss him so. Love to you all.
