Obituary for Margaret Lois Owen
Margaret Lois Owen, age 55, a resident of Zachary, LA, passed away at her residence on April 14, 2016. She is survived by her brothers, Gerald Owen (Vicki) Wichita, KS; Gregory Owen (Beth) Baton Rouge; and Steven Owen (Gudrun) Sandy, Utah; her step mother Jan Doss Owen (Zachary) and step sisters Angela LaPlante (David) and Michelle Polisso (Tom) and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her dearly loved mother and father, Jerry and Thelma Owen, both of Zachary. Margaret attended First Baptist Church in Zachary. She loved her family, friends, faith, her dogs Tiger and Lucky, and LSU. Visitation will be held at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 5pm until 7pm and then on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Zachary First Baptist Church from 9:30am until funeral services at 11am, conducted by Rev. Stephen Byrd. Margaret will be laid to rest next to her parents at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker.
