Obituary for Leona Ann "Lee" Desormeaux

A resident of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet. She was 74 years old. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5pm until 7:30pm and continues on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary from 10am until Memorial Service at 11am conducted by Bro. Harold Harris.S he is survived by her husband of 53 years, Floyd Desormeaux, Sr. whom she was devoted to. 2 sons, Joseph Floyd, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Denham Springs and James Brian and wife, Wendy of New Orleans. Her brother, Clyde Ortego of Alexandria. 2 grandchildren, Gabriel E. Desormeaux and Erin Gray. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Rose Ortego and her brother, Sam Ortego. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabriel Desormeaux, Joe Mengis, Gary Wallace, Stacy Auzenne and Robert Pendarvis. Special thanks to the Staff at Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet ER and ICU and to her caregivers, Dianne Starks and Shirley Gutter for all the love and compassion given to our Mom.
