Edward Fletcher ""Oak""  Oakley III
Edward Fletcher Oakley III, “Oak”, 79, a resident of Baton Rouge, died on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. He was retired, after working for the city parish Department of Public Works for over 30 years. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 5pm until 8pm with a 7pm memorial service conducted by Rev. Jimmy Babin.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judith Kay Oakley; one daughter, Stephanie Renee Myers and her husband Jerry Myers of Zachary; one son, Jeffrey Scott Oakley and his wife Charlotte Oakley of Zachary; one sister, Frances Fairchild and her husband Anthony of Baton Rouge; ten grandchildren: Karly Oakley, Ashley Oakley, Shelbi Oakley, Jessie Orillion, Kayla Orillion, Peyton Orillion, Wyatt Myers, Breigh Myers, Alex Myers, and Hunter Myers; twelve great grandchildren: Landon Oakley, Makayla Hughes, Alyssa Oakley, Nya LeDuff, Kaden Oakley, Jayden LeDuff, Bailey Lane, Brooklynn Oakley, Arianna Bruton, Hollis Lundberg, Taylor Scott, and Abigail Myers. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
