Obituary for Percy Wyatt Lee

Percy Wyatt Lee passed away at home following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a native of
Walthall County, Tylertown, MS, and 51 year resident of Zachary, LA. He was a 50 year 32 Degree
member and Past Worshipful Master of Fairfields Lodge No. 445 that is now merged with Trinity Lodge
No. 372. He was Knighted in Plains Commandery, Knights Templar, in 1972, served as Eminent
Commander, and received the Knights Templar Cross of Honor in 2002. He was a Past Worthy Patron of
Eunice Chapter No. 14 OES, Zachary. He was very active in the Masonic Lodge, York Rite, and Scottish
Rite, and honored by the Istrouma York Rite Bodies with a Life Membership in 2005 for his dedication
and devotion. He enjoyed being of service to the Masonic Fraternity, where he had many friends and
Masonic Brothers to whom he was truly devoted. He retired from Stupp Corp. after 36 years of service
and then enjoyed playing golf almost daily. His family offers sincere and heartfelt thanks to the Old
Timers Gang at Dumas Golf Course in Baker, LA who did so much to keep him on the tee box and cart
path. Percy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Vera Nell Bryant Lee, sons Stephen P. and wife Ellen, Jerry F. and wife Mary, daughters Karen L. Johnson and husband Keith, Maureen L. Bergeron and husband Wayne, Grandchildren Steven L. Frazier, Kathryn F. Zimmerman and husband Richard, Elizabeth A. Frazier, Eric M. Lee and wife Caroline, Kathleen M. Lee, Jessica C. Lee, Katie D. Chafee, Davin L. Chafee, Step-Granddaughter Jennifer E. Limmer and husband Clint, Great Grandchildren Benjamin W.
Thompson, Aubrey E. Zimmerman, Stephen T. Lee, Cameron J. Lee, Nola C. Frazier, Step Great
Grandchildren Jace and Colton R. Limmer, and Korbyn Zimmerman. Three sisters Hilda L. Hall, Mary L.
Fortenberry and husband Pitt, and Irma Jean Broom and husband J. D. Sisters in Law Versey B. Peterson,
Liberty B. Johnson, Arveda B. Mixon and husband Tommy, Elenise B. Snell. Preceded in death by parents
Percy Bilbo and Emma K. Lee, granddaughter Megan Lee, Wife’s Parents John R. and Annie B. Bryant.
Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home Zachary, LA on Monday March 30th from 6-9PM, Eastern Star Service at 6:45, Masonic Service at 7. Visitation will continue on Tuesday March 31st from 11-1, Funeral Service following. Burial immediately following at Azalea Rest Cemetary in Zachary, LA conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes and Dr. Bythel Brantly. Pall bearers will be sons and grandsons.
