Obituary for Marcus Brandon Ivy
Ivy, Marcus Brandon passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 in St. Francisville. Marcus was a native of Alexandria and a longtime resident of St. Francisville. He will be forever missed by his beloved wife and friend of over twenty seven years, Susan Gordon Ivy. Marcus was loved by many and leaves behind wonderful memories. Those who knew him will always remember his quick wit, gentle nature and lighthearted spirit. Marcus will be especially missed by Chico, sisters, Vicki Ivy Carr and Robbie Ivy Davis along with husband Joe, brother in law, Billy Giles, father in law, Don Gordon and wife Carol, mother in law, Virginia Watts, brother in law, Chris Gordon and wife Kim, brother in law, Jeremy Watts and wife Leslie, and sister in law, Sarah Gordon. He will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews.
Marcus is preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Ivy Jr., his mother, Doris Davis Ivy and sister, Lisa Ivy Giles.
A celebration of Marcus' life will be held at Elm Park on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to your favorite charity.
