Obituary for Bryan Michael Villavaso

"Behold, children are the inheritance of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward. As are the arrows in the hand of the strong man; so are the children of youth. Blessed is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they speak with their enemies in the gate." Psalm 127:3-5. A co-owner of Bryan's Place in Zachary and resident of Clinton, he died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary from a pulmonary embolism. He was 46 years old. Visitation will be at Fellowship Church in Zachary on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in McManus on Friday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m., conducted by pastors Tiny Hoyt, Joey Hoyt and Scott Hornsby. Graveside service at Tylertown Cemetery, Tylertown, Miss., at 3 p.m. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jan Villavaso; children, Bryan Michael Villavaso Jr. and wife Kayla, Allyse Anne Villavaso, Brent Michael Villavaso, Stephen Wade Villavaso, Joshua Thomas Villavaso, Anita Marie Villavaso and Victor Neal Villavaso; parents, Stanley A. Villavaso and Peggy and David Fetter; siblings, Steve and Annette Villavaso, Veronica and Greg Smith, and Stan Villavaso Jr.; two grandchildren, Bryan Michael "Trey" Villavaso III and Lily Grace Villavaso; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elaine Woodfolk and Jim Thomas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his uncle, Lt. Col. Alfred G. Villavaso. Pallbearers will be Bryan Michael Jr., Brent Michael, Stephen Wade, Joshua Thomas, Victor Neal Villavaso, Stephen Paul Villavaso, Cameron Villavaso, Travis Faul and Michael Gaspard. The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything they have. Remember: The richest person is not the one who has the most, but the one who needs the least. Live simply, love generously, are deeply, speak kindly.
