Obituary for Jimmie Calvin Vaughan

Resident of Baker and Native of Eupora, MS died on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 9:27 PM at the age of 75. He was a retired employee of James Rivers after 35 years of service. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary on Monday from 8:30 AM until service time at 10:00 AM conducted by Pastor James Gordon. Burial will be in Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary, LA. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty Sagley Vaughan Two Daughters, Janie Vaughan Johnson and husband Alex Leo Johnson, Baton Rouge, LA and Pamela Vaughan of Baker, LA. Two Sons, Mark & wife Suzanne Brock Vaughan, Zachary, LA and Jimmy & wife Deborah Moen Vaughan, Tomball, TX Two Sisters, Johnnie Green, Vidalia, LA and Nancy Riddle, Zachary, LA Two Brothers, Cecil and wife Sue Vaughan, Norwood, LA and Bobby and wife Patricia Vaughan, Metairie, LA Grandchildren, Amie Johnson Keenan, Joshua Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Caleb Gridley, Ethan Vaughan, Kaitlyn Vaughan, and Keaton Vaughan Great Grandchildren, Zoe Johnson, Rhyli Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Jr., Trey Allen and Jace Johnson Preceded in death by Father, John L. Vaughan and Mother, Ruth Edna Henley Vaughan. Pallbearers will be Leo Johnson, Mark Vaughan, Brian Vaughan, Joe Green, Duane Vaughan and Joshua Johnson He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all spending time with his family.
