Obituary for Terry Glen Norman

It is with much sadness that I announce the passing of my best friend and husband, Terry, born October 13, 1950, and died on March 7, 2012 at the age of 61. He was a resident of Jackson, LA. He was retired from Eastern Louisiana Mental Health Systems with more than 30 years as a Lieutenant in Transportation. He was baptized in Jesus' name on September 3, 1995 and he is now walking on streets of gold with Jesus. He was the church media and sound technician, did puppet ministry, and so much more for the Lord. He was always willing and ready to work for the Lord. Visiting on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 9am until services at 1pm at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Norwood Hoyt and Rev. Joey Hoyt. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, LA. Terry is survived by his wife of 40 and a half years, Daisy Patterson Norman; one loving son and daughter-in-law, Terry Norman Jr. and Crystal Henry Norman; three precious grandsons, Chandler, Seth, and Chase Norman; one brother, Howard R. Norman; two nephews, Larry and Daniel Norman; a sweet niece-in-law whom he helped raise, Chelsea Maples; and a brother-in-law who he loved as a brother, Glynn Patterson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Eual and Dorothy Allen Norman of North Louisiana and a brother, Larry Eual Norman. Always giving thanks to God for bringing us through every trial we face. Pallbearers will be Glynn Patterson, Barry Patterson, Terry Norman Jr., Dwayne Dyson, Chandler Norman, Russell Anderson, Larry Norman, and Heylin Bond. Special thanks to our Pastor and friend Rev. Norwood "Tiny" Hoyt who stood by us and is still standing by us through everything. Thank you to my sister and brother, Lois P. Wood and Glynn Patterson, and also his brother Raymond and son Terry Norman Jr, who stayed with me at the hospital. Thank you to each and every one of you: World Wide Prayers, our church, friends, and family for your prayers, phonecalls, visits and love.
